Former Doctor Faces Sexual Assault Allegations Involving Thirty-Eight Patients

Legal authorities have stated that a ex- physician stands accused of carrying out sexual assaults involving thirty-eight victims who were patients.

The Serious Allegations

The accused, Nathaniel Spencer from Birmingham faces allegations of numerous acts of sexual assault – including acts against minors under the age of thirteen – between 2017 to 2021.

A deputy chief prosecutor stated, “Legal teams have worked at length to support a detailed and complex police inquiry, meticulously examining the available evidence to establish that there is a strong case to bring the case to trial and that it is in the interest of justice.”

The Investigation

These allegations come after what police described as a “complex investigation” into reported sexual offences at medical facilities: the Royal Stoke university hospital and a facility in Dudley.

Spencer is due to appear at the local magistrates' court on January 20th.
