Loyal followers of the pop star are calling for that a person who jumped a barrier and seized the actress during the recent Wicked: For Good debut be arrested or expelled from Singapore.

A circulating footage depicts the individual from Australia pushing past media personnel and rushing toward Grande while the cast proceeded down a promenade surrounded by fans.

Fellow actress Cynthia Erivo quickly pulled the surprised actress away from Mr Wen, who was seen being removed of the event by event staff.

Mr Wen stated on Instagram recently that he was "let go after being arrested", though official papers showed that he was due to attend court on the next day. It is uncertain if he was charged.

Record of Event Invasions

This is part of a pattern for Mr Wen, who labels himself a "Notorious Troublemaker", has crashed a concert or event. His Instagram feed contains videos of him disturbing other high-profile occasions, including jumping on stage at Katy Perry's Sydney performance in June this year and in a like fashion during The Chainsmokers performance in the area last winter.

"Steps should be implemented taken against him as this is evidently a criminal offence," commented an Instagram commenter, in a reply to a video Mr Wen shared of his behavior.

"This appears to be a habit... why are you not imprisoned?" another Instagram user wrote.

Fans Show Disapproval Over Grande's Well-being

Several supporters accused Mr Wen for "re-traumatising" Grande, who had discussed experiencing PTSD after a terrorist explosion at the finale of her 2017 show in Manchester, killing 22 people and harming hundreds.

"Ariana has been through so many scary things... and at her Manchester concert and you thought it would be fun to jump the barricade?" wrote another response on Instagram.

Some attendees also criticised guards at the premiere for not being adequately prepared; while others called for digital services to ban Mr Wen's uploads.

Response and Premiere Information

In videos shared widely, Grande looked startled when she was touched by the intruder. Her co-stars Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be seen comforting her while Mr Wen was removed by security.

Grande has not commented on the situation, and the rest of the event carried on uninterrupted.

Fans at Wicked premiere
Many of Singapore fans had lined up to meet the cast of Wicked

Many of supporters had gathered in a mass of colorful attire at the Wicked: For Good regional premiere in a Singapore mall, including a number who had queued for as long as a significant duration before it began.

The film, to be launched on November 21, is the sequel of a dual version of the well-known stage musical Wicked, which focuses on the surprising friendship between two distinct characters.

The production itself is a adaptation of the 1900 book The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

Grande, who portrays the benevolent sorceress Glinda, was decked out in a light pink glittering gown at the event while Erivo, who portrays the Elphaba, wore a black tube gown embroidered with roses.

They were joined by co-star Jeff Goldblum.

The previous installment, Wicked, was the top-earning motion picture of the previous year in the UK, and scored 10 Academy Award nods, earning a pair for outstanding attire and set decoration.
